Eligibility Criteria:​

• Educational Qualification:
  • The candidate must possess an MBBS or equivalent degree from a medical college or institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  • The candidate must also have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961. (Provisional registration certificates will not be accepted).
• Age Limit (as of 01-01-2025):
  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Candidates must have been born between 2nd January 1993 and 1st January 2004.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee:​

• No examination fee is required for any category of candidates as per GA&PG Department Notification No. 9897/Gen, dated 11-04-2022.

Selection Process:​

• Written Test: The recruitment for Medical Officer posts will be based on a competitive Written Test.
  • The written examination will consist of one paper with 200 marks.
  • The paper will have 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark.
  • The exam duration will be 3 hours.
  • There will be negative marking: 25% of the mark for each wrong answer.
  • The syllabus will be based on the Medical Council of India (MCI) syllabus for MBBS.
