The Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced a recruitment drive for 132 posts of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Assistant Professor (Pre-Law). Candidates with a Master's degree, LLM, or Ph.D. are eligible to apply online through the official website of TN TRB. The application window opens on 3rd March 2025 and closes on 18th March 2025.

Age Limit (as of 01-07-2025):​

• Associate Professor: 45 years
• Assistant Professor / Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): 40 years
  Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualifications:​

• Master's Degree in Law with at least 55% marks from a recognized University in India.
• Ph.D. holders with a Master's Degree obtained before 19th September 1991 need a minimum of 50% marks.
• M.A. in any Tamil Nadu State University or an equivalent degree with 55% marks in the subject.

Salary:​

• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,31,400 - 2,17,100 (Academic Level 13A)
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 68,900 - 2,05,500 (Academic Level 11)
• Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): Rs. 57,700 - 1,82,400 (Academic Level 10)

Selection Process:​

1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test (compulsory)
2. Written Examination
3. Research Score Evaluation (for Associate Professors)
4. Document Verification and Interview
